There are at least 16 different forms of corneal remolding techniques which are intended to reshape the front curve of the cornea in a way as to eliminate any error in vision. Each form has it’s own set of pros and cons. Since the eyes are usually in a state of change until the early 20′s most experts recommend waiting until that time before applying one of these approaches so the results will be more permanent. Which technique is best keeps changing as does the success rate which is in the upper 90′s. One of the main risk factors remaining is glare at night.
