My house was built in 1927 in a historical district called “The Lincoln District” in Tacoma, WA. I was wondering if anyone know where to find out if any grants are available for renovating/remodeling houses within these districts. Thanks!

typically if something is deemed “historic” usually you cannot “remodel” but “restore”…so you might want to check with your local deed restrictions and historic society….

Usually the houses are more that 100 years old, and there are benefits. It is a tax break, but you have to find out exactly what you can and cannot do in restoration from the city.
